This month, Peterborough Care residents celebrated the start of spring and Easter with church services, Easter egg hunts, games and afternoon teas. We finished off with a wellbeing walk at central park in the lovely sunshine. We have also had a lovely spring poem written by one of our residents which we would love to share with you.
Dawn Poem
Soft dawn breaks on fields of gold, where springtime stories rise and unfold. The world wakes up with a gentle cheer, whispers of hope float bright and clear.
Tulips stretch in coloured rows, blossoms dance where the warm wind blows. A quiet joy begins to bloom, chasing away the winter’s gloom.
And in the hush of this sacred day, new beginnings find their way. Easter reminds each heart to see the simple grace of renewal, free.
